# View and filter notifications

> Find messages for your shop using unread, text, and date filters.

Review notifications to see recent activity for the shop you are working in. The newest messages appear first, with a title, message, date, and time. Use these details to find the event you want to check.

## Who can do this?

Owners, Managers, and Staff can view messages addressed to them for shops they can access. Your list may differ from a colleague’s because some messages go to particular people or roles.

## Where

In the web app, select the shop and open **Notifications**. The bell in the header previews up to five unread messages. Open the full page when you need search, dates, older messages, or messages you have already read.

## Find a notification

1. Check the shop name before searching.
2. Turn on **Unread only** if you want messages you have not read. Turn it off to include read messages.
3. Enter words from the title or message in **Search**.
4. Use the date control to select a day. Select a second, different day to include the dates between them. Use the **X** inside the date control to clear that filter.
5. Move through the pages below the list to check older entries.
6. Select a message to read it. If a related screen is available, Tapp opens it.

Each page contains up to twenty entries. Text and date filters search the current page, so an empty result does not mean there are no matches elsewhere. Check other pages or clear the filters. Changing **Unread only** returns you to the first page.

Search may miss words in a translated notification. If a word you can see produces no match, clear the search and use the date filter to find the message. Check other pages too.

## Platform and market notes

These instructions describe the web app in both supported markets. The list refreshes periodically while you are using it; a newly created message may take a short time to appear. Phone and tablet push alerts have separate settings in the mobile app.

## Troubleshooting

If your computer and shop use different time zones, messages near midnight can fall outside the day you expect. Clear the date filter or include the days before and after the displayed date. The filter uses your computer’s day boundaries, while message times are displayed for the shop.

If an expected entry is missing, confirm the shop, clear the search and date filters, and turn off **Unread only**. Return to the first page and refresh if loading has stopped. Check the relevant order or booking directly when you need its current status. If the problem continues, give Tapp support the message title, time, and shop.
