# Explore Analytics

> Open detailed reporting for revenue, demand, menu, guests, bookings, voice ordering and activity.

Explore your shop’s Analytics reports.

## Who can do this?

**Owners and Managers** can open these reports for their shop. Staff access to personal performance information does not include advanced Analytics or voice-ordering analytics.

## Where to do it

Open **Overview** in the web app and select **View analytics**. Check the shop.

## Explore a report

1. Choose the time window at the top of Analytics.
2. Open the card for revenue, demand, menu, guests or bookings.
3. Read the main figures and charts together with their explanations.
4. Expand the insight sections when available to read the observations for that area.
5. In revenue or menu reports, select a category if you want to narrow the view. Choose **All categories** to return to the whole-shop view.
6. Select the **Analytics** back link to open another card, including voice ordering or activity.

The period control offers seven days, one month, three months, one year and maximum history, initially seven days. A category selection can hide whole-shop figures and remains active on the Analytics overview, affecting revenue and order totals. For whole-shop comparisons, choose **All categories** in revenue or menu reports. Check each report’s scope and calculations.

## Understand the cards and insights

Cards introduce each subject. Read highlighted observations before making changes.

In mobile reports, tap the information button to read the explanation and **How it’s measured**. A small-sample warning means there is too little information to rely on the figures. No warning does not prove complete data. Menu margin reports also depend on recorded item costs.

**Insights** are separate from the chart period and category selection. Changing either filter does not recalculate these observations. Read the summary and expand the groups beneath it to see their explanations. An empty insight area does not establish that there are no issues with your shop.

The **Activity** view lists recorded shop changes separately from the reports. One edit can produce separate price and cost entries; multiple entries do not necessarily mean repeated edits. It does not use your selected report period. Select **Load more** to see older entries when that button is available. If the list fails to load, use the retry action before concluding that no changes were recorded.

## Platform and market notes

Mobile **Analytics** shares the main period selection across reports, but the [menu report](/en/overview/review-menu-item-performance)’s **Category breakdown** has its own period, initially seven days. Use the category button in the menu report to compare items within a category; **All categories** restores the category comparison. In the breakdown, choose **Transactions** or **Revenue**, then tap a chart segment to display its percentage. The cards below show both percentages. Check the breakdown’s own period before comparing it with another chart.

In mobile **Analytics**, open **Activity** to review shop changes. Scroll down to load older entries automatically and pull down to refresh. If an empty list shows an error, choose **Try again**. A later loading failure can leave existing entries visible without an error message; do not assume you have reached the complete history.

In mobile **Insights**, summaries start expanded and the groups below start collapsed. Tap a heading to open or close it. These observations use the latest available batch, independently of chart filters. Use **Try again** if loading fails. Missing badges on the overview cards do not prove there are no findings; open the report to check.

In mobile reports, a warning beside **Nightly data** means its timestamp is over 30 hours old. Check the displayed date before relying on the figures. No warning does not guarantee complete data.

## Troubleshooting

If a report is empty, check the shop, period and any additional filter. A failed load can leave the overview cards showing zero or a dash. Open the detailed report and check for errors before treating those values as confirmed results. Use the retry action where an error is shown. If access is unavailable, confirm that your role is Owner or Manager. Changing the period cannot grant access.
