Complete platform billing to continue setting up a German business in Tapp. The signup screen shows the plan and the terms that apply before you continue to payment details.

Who can do this?

The business Owner completes this step. It applies to businesses operating in Germany. If you joined an existing German business by invitation, use its existing subscription. Even an invitation with the shop Owner role does not let you start a separate subscription for that business.

Where to do it

After selecting Germany during signup in the web app, the billing page opens automatically. If you already have a shop and its billing needs attention, Tapp directs the Owner to the billing settings.

Complete billing in the web app

  1. Review the plan, displayed price, included services, trial information and billing terms.
  2. Select the button to begin. The signup screen currently labels it Start 30-day free trial; check the terms displayed with it before continuing.
  3. Complete the requested payment details on Stripe’s billing page.
  4. Return to Tapp using the link provided after completion.
  5. Keep the page open while Tapp confirms the result.
  6. Continue into the app once confirmation finishes.
Returning from Stripe is one part of the process. Wait until Tapp has confirmed completion before assuming the billing step is finished. The start button is unavailable while this confirmation is running.

Platform notes

In the mobile app, selecting Germany opens Activate your subscription. Review the displayed plan and terms, then select Continue. This sends a billing link to your account email address; it does not open payment inside the app. On Check your email, check the displayed address and open the link from your inbox in a browser. Complete the requested details, then return to the mobile app yourself. Keep the billing screen open while it shows Waiting for confirmation… or Finishing up…. Tapp continues automatically after confirmation and the app finishes loading. If the email is missing, check your spam folder and use Resend email. If sending fails, the app displays Could not send the email; check your connection and try again. If you already completed payment but the screen remains waiting, use contact support before requesting another subscription. The browser’s completion message alone does not confirm the app has finished. Completing platform billing does not finish your shop details, menu or business verification. Continue with those tasks in the setup checklist afterward.

Germany notes

Use the price and conditions shown during your actual signup. A trial is available only to eligible first-time subscribers; returning after an earlier subscription does not grant another trial. This guide does not set subscription prices or guarantee that a displayed offer applies to every business. Great British businesses do not follow this German billing step.

Troubleshooting

If you cancel before completing Stripe’s page, return to the same billing screen to try again. If you completed it but Tapp shows a confirmation error, contact Tapp support through the help link on the billing page before attempting another subscription. Do not create another owner account to resolve an incomplete billing step. Keep using the account for the business you are setting up.
