Use Bookable online when a physical table should temporarily stop receiving online bookings. Turning it off keeps the table in your shop while excluding it from online assignment. It does not close an active table visit or cancel existing reservations.

Who can do this?

Owners and Managers can change table availability. Staff can see and use table information in supported service workflows, but cannot change this setting. Check the selected shop before switching a table off.

Where

In the web app, open Settings → Rooms & tables. Find the physical table card and its Bookable online switch. Combined-table cards do not have a separate switch.

Change availability

  1. Confirm the shop, room, and table name.
  2. Turn Bookable online off to stop automatic online assignment to that table.
  3. The switch saves immediately. Wait for Online hidden to appear on the card.
  4. When the table is ready for online bookings again, turn the switch on.
  5. Review the table’s booking priority if you previously used a custom preference.
Turning the switch off sets the priority to Online hidden. Turning it back on sets Medium; it does not restore a previous High or Low priority. Open Edit table and choose the intended priority if Medium is not appropriate.

Effects on combined tables and service

An online booking cannot be assigned to a combination containing an online-hidden table. Check the individual members when a combination is unexpectedly unavailable online. Online hidden does not mean the table is physically unusable. Staff can still encounter or use it in supported floor and seating workflows. Coordinate with your team if you need to keep the physical table out of service as well. Hiding tables does not switch off booking requests. Guests may still submit a request without an assigned table when no suitable online table is available. Keep checking Bookings and review each request before confirming it.

Platform and market notes

In the mobile app’s Rooms & tables, tap the table name to edit its details; use the separate Bookable online switch for visibility. Its appearance changes before saving finishes. Wait until the switch is available again and check the result; an error can restore the previous state. Turning it back on also resets priority to Medium. These steps describe the web app in both supported markets. The table keeps its name, room, and floor-map position. Existing bookings and active visits remain, so review them separately before making operational changes.

Troubleshooting

If the switch returns to its previous state, wait for the update, refresh, and check your role and connection. If an expected online option is missing, check each table’s availability, party-size limits, and existing bookings. Contact Tapp support if the saved settings do not explain the result.
