A clear shop logo helps people recognize your shop in Tapp. You can preview a new image before saving it, replace the existing logo, or remove a logo you no longer want to use.

Who can do this?

Owners and Managers can change the logo for shops they manage. Staff should ask an Owner or Manager to make the change. Check the selected shop before uploading, especially if your business has several locations.

Where

In the web app, open Shop overview and select the intended shop. Choose the circular logo or its placeholder at the top of the page to open Change shop logo.
  1. Choose Upload and select your image.
  2. Use a JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, TIF, HEIC, or HEIF file within the 100 MB limit.
  3. Review the circular preview. Check that the important parts of the logo remain visible.
  4. Choose Save to apply the image.
  5. Wait for the dialog to close, then check the logo on the shop page.
Selecting a file only changes the preview. To abandon a selection before saving, close the dialog. The existing saved logo stays in place. Open Change shop logo, choose Remove, and then choose Save. The preview shows the shop’s initial when no image is selected. Remove is unavailable if the shop has no saved custom logo. Keep a copy of the image if you may want to upload it again later.

Platform and market notes

These steps describe the web app in both supported markets. The saved logo is used across Tapp’s customer-facing apps. Other screens may need a refresh before the new image appears; changing the preview alone does not update them. During mobile setup, tap the image area on Upload your logo and choose a photo. Drag it to position the logo and pinch to adjust its size. Select Choose to confirm the crop and start uploading immediately, or Cancel to discard the crop before upload. Wait until the saved logo appears, then select Next to continue to the description. You can use Skip if you do not want to add a logo now. If the old image remains, reopen the screen and check before continuing; an upload failure may not show a message. The close icon on the saved logo starts removal immediately. There is no separate Save step for mobile upload or removal. Wait for the result. Leaving or skipping the screen does not undo a saved change.

Troubleshooting

If the mobile photo picker cannot access your image, check photo-library permission and try again. For an unsupported format or oversized file, choose another image or reduce its size. If saving fails, check your connection and that you are an Owner or Manager for this shop. Keep the original image and retry. If the old logo remains after refreshing, contact Tapp support with the shop name and approximate time of the change.
