Use the guest list to find someone before opening their history or attaching them to an order. Each shop has its own guest list. The same person may have a separate profile at another location.

Who can do this?

Owners, Managers, and Staff can search and view guests for their shop. Editing an existing profile or deleting it requires an Owner or Manager. Seeing a profile does not give Staff permission to make those changes.

Where

Select the shop in the web app and open Guests. Each row shows a name, email, phone, and review information where available. Select a row to open the guest’s details.

Find a guest

  1. Check the selected shop before searching.
  2. Enter part of the guest’s name or the beginning of their guest number in the search field.
  3. Wait for the results to update.
  4. Compare the contact details in the matching rows to identify the correct person.
  5. Use the page controls below the list to see more results. The list shows up to twenty guests per page.
  6. Select the correct row to review the profile.
Searching changes the results across the shop’s list, not just the current page. A new search returns you to the first page. Contact details help distinguish similar names, but email and phone are not currently supported search terms in this list.

Sort the results

Select Name or Review to sort by that column. Select it again to reverse the direction. Sorting returns to the first page. Use these supported choices if you need a predictable order; sorting by email or phone is not currently supported, even though those column controls are visible. If you selected either one, choose Name or Review to load a supported result order.

Platform and market notes

These steps describe the web app in both supported markets. Guest selectors during ordering and bookings use the selected shop’s guests too. A guest from another shop will not automatically appear as the same profile here. In the mobile app’s Guests list, Known guests is selected initially. This hides entries created for unidentified walk-in guests. Choose All to include them. The web list includes those entries by default, so the two lists can differ even in the same shop. Scroll down in the mobile list to load more guests, or pull down to refresh. Changing the search or the guest filter restarts the list.

Troubleshooting

If nothing appears, clear the search, confirm the shop, and try a shorter part of the name. A deleted guest is no longer in the active list. An unsuccessful load can look like an empty list or leave earlier results on screen. Reload after checking your connection and shop membership. In the mobile app, also check whether Known guests is hiding the entry. Contact Tapp support if the correct shop and account still cannot load guests.
