If business verification does not progress, start with the step and message shown in Tapp. An unfinished application, an appointment waiting to happen, and a payment restriction need different follow-up actions.

Who can do this?

Starting or resuming verification requires the Owner role for the selected shop. Managers and Staff can report a problem to the Owner or Tapp support, but cannot complete the Owner’s application on their behalf.

Where

In the web app, the Owner opens the setup checklist through the current reminder, such as Complete verification. In the mobile app, use the verification or onboarding reminder on the Owner’s home screen. Confirm the selected shop before trying to resolve the problem.

Steps

  1. The verification action is missing: check the selected shop and your Owner role. Complete earlier shop, menu or billing steps shown in the checklist. The menu needs at least one category with an item.
  2. The verification page will not open: check that you are signed in as the Owner. In a browser, allow the new tab for the verification action, then try again.
  3. You left the application unfinished: return to Complete identification in Tapp to open a fresh verification link. Follow any outstanding requests on that page.
  4. Your information has been submitted: return to Tapp and reopen the setup checklist. Submission and completed review are different steps; do not create a second account to try to speed things up.
  5. A call is requested: book through Tapp and check your appointment email. Attend the call before expecting that review step to finish.
  6. The review was unsuccessful: use the next action offered in Tapp or contact Tapp support. A general message does not explain which information needs changing.
  7. You still cannot take payments: check the displayed restriction. An unfinished review, incomplete payment verification, or an inactive German platform subscription can require different action. If the message asks for billing, check platform billing; repeating identity verification does not resolve a billing restriction.

Platform notes

Tell support whether the problem happened in the web app, mobile app, verification page, or booking calendar. Include the shop name, time, exact visible message, and the action you tried. A screenshot of the error can help if it contains no sensitive information.

Market notes

Great Britain requires the onboarding call. Germany normally does not. German billing remains a separate requirement. Follow the steps shown for your business rather than copying another shop’s setup sequence.

Troubleshooting

Contact Tapp support if the same error remains or the completed step is not reflected in Tapp. Do not send identity documents, bank details, or passwords in an ordinary support message. Supply verification documents only through the secure process provided for that purpose.
