Use Promotions to review your shop’s offers before changing or sharing them. The list shows each promotion’s name, discount value, schedule summary and current status. Open the promotion for its full settings.

Who can do this?

Owners and Managers can view and manage the Promotions page. Staff applying an offer at checkout use the Point of sale flow instead; that does not give them access to manage promotions.

Where to do it

Open Promotions in the web app and confirm the selected shop. Offers belong to that shop, so switching shops changes the list you are reviewing.

Review the list

  1. Find the promotion by its name.
  2. Read the discount value and schedule summary under the name.
  3. Check the status badge, then open the row to review the full conditions, including dates, products, minimum spend and redemption limits.
  4. Select New promotion to create a different offer.
  5. Use Show ended to expand older promotions that have been ended. Use Hide ended to collapse them again.
An empty list means there are no promotions to show for the selected shop. A loading error is different: check the shop and your access before assuming offers have disappeared.

Understand the status

  • Draft: the offer has not been activated.
  • Live now: the offer is active and its schedule currently allows it.
  • Scheduled: the offer is active but is not currently shown as live. It may be outside its dates, weekdays or daily times; this label does not necessarily mean the offer starts in the future.
  • Paused: the offer has been paused.
  • Ended: the offer has been ended and appears in the expandable ended section.
Live now does not guarantee that every order qualifies. The order still needs to meet conditions such as eligible products, minimum spend and remaining uses. A code-only offer still needs its code even when it is live. The QR symbol beside an active promotion does not tell you whether a code is required. Open the promotion and check how it can be applied.

Platform and market notes

These steps describe the web app for shops in Great Britain and Germany. Amounts use the selected shop’s currency, and schedules use its local time zone. Open the full settings to inspect start and end dates; the list’s short schedule summary is not the complete set of conditions. In the mobile app, read the status text rather than relying on its color. An active offer can also appear Scheduled while its availability check is loading or unavailable. Open the offer to review its conditions; the short schedule summary omits start and end dates. Whether guests can discover an offer is controlled separately. Do not assume that an offer shown in this management list also appears on the guest ordering page.

Troubleshooting

If an active offer appears Scheduled unexpectedly, refresh the page and inspect its dates, weekdays and times. The schedule check updates periodically while the page is open, so a badge may lag behind a time change. If that check is still loading or fails, an active offer can appear Scheduled or keep an earlier badge even when the promotion list loads successfully. If the list does not load, ask an Owner to check your shop access and contact Tapp support if the problem persists.
