Add another shop when your business needs a separate location in Tapp. Give it a recognizable name, review any additional-shop charge shown, and complete the new location’s setup before using it with your team or guests.

Who can do this?

The business Owner can create another shop. Managers and Staff should ask the Owner to add the location. In the web app, Add new shop appears in the shop selector when you have an Owner role in your shop list.

Where

Open the shop selector at the bottom of the web app’s sidebar and choose Add new shop. The dialog is titled Add a new shop.

Create the location

  1. Enter a Shop name of up to 100 characters. Choose a name that distinguishes this location from your existing shops.
  2. Review any Additional shop billing notice. Use the amounts shown in the dialog for this business.
  3. If the charge applies, select I agree to the additional shop charge only after reviewing it.
  4. Choose Add shop once and wait for Shop created. Keep the dialog open while it works.
  5. Close the success message and confirm that the new shop is selected.
  6. Follow the setup guide for the new location.
The new shop belongs to your existing business. Its setup starts with location details ready to enter; do not assume its address, menu, or operating hours are already complete. New shops start with all-day hours for ordinary weekdays and weekends. Replace these with your actual hours and check the holiday schedule before use.

Add a shop in the mobile app

  1. On Shop, open the shop picker and select Add new shop.
  2. Enter the shop name, address and phone number. A logo and description are optional; the description allows up to 256 characters here.
  3. Review and accept any additional-shop charge shown, then select Create shop once.
  4. If asked to finish setup, continue with the shop already created. If only the logo or description failed, add them later in shop settings.
  5. Check the new shop’s details and opening hours before use. Its industry may be copied from another shop in the same business; check that it is appropriate.

Platform and market notes

For German businesses, additional shops can be charged per active day. The monthly preview uses 30 times the daily rate; review your invoice for the actual charge. A shop counts while it has not been deactivated, including days with no sales or closed opening hours. Usage can also accrue during a trial. Ask Tapp support before assuming that a temporary closure stops this charge. This additional-shop confirmation is not part of the Great Britain flow.

Troubleshooting

If an active subscription is required, open billing in Settings and resolve the subscription before trying again. If consent is required, reopen the dialog and review the current notice. After a creation error or an interrupted wait, refresh the shop list before trying again. The location may already exist even if its setup did not finish. If it appears, select it and continue its setup rather than creating another shop. A success message with a missing shop can also mean the list has not refreshed. Contact Tapp support if the location remains unavailable or its setup will not continue.
