Dismiss a notification when you no longer need it in your list. This removes the message from your view without changing the order, booking, payment, or other event it describes. Review any outstanding task before clearing its reminder.

Who can do this?

Owners, Managers, and Staff can dismiss notifications addressed to their own account. You cannot remove a colleague’s copy from their list. If several people received the same news, each person manages their own message.

Where

In the web app, choose the shop and open Notifications. Find the X on the right of the entry you want to remove. Check the title and time so you select the correct message.

Remove one message

  1. Find the notification in the list, using the search or date filter if needed.
  2. Read it and check the related order or booking if you still need to act.
  3. Select the X on that row. The message is removed without another confirmation.
  4. Wait for the list to update and confirm that the entry has disappeared.
Selecting the row itself marks the message as read and may open a related screen. Use that option if you want to keep the message available without its unread indicator. There is no bulk-dismiss or restore button on this page. If you need information from a removed message, open the relevant area of Tapp and find the order, booking, or item there. Dismissing a message does not remove those details.

Platform and market notes

These instructions cover the web app in both supported markets. Removing a message is different from switching off push alerts on your phone or tablet. It does not change which future notifications you receive.

Troubleshooting

If the entry remains, allow the list to refresh and then reload the page. Confirm you selected X rather than the row. A previously dismissed entry can return after using Mark all as read; you can dismiss it again. If removal repeatedly fails, give Tapp support the message title, shop, and time.
